(A)新メディアの登場で「紙」の新聞を購読する代わりに、パソコン画面に無料で提供されるニュース情報の閲読で済ます人々が年々増えてきた。いわゆる新聞離れだ。
(B)それだけでなく、新聞社だとかテレビのような大組織が大衆に情報を伝達するマスコミとは異なり、個人は情報の受け手であるだけでなく、情報をクモの巣のように張り巡らされた「ネット」に向けて発信できるようになった。
【英訳文】
(A)As a result of the appearance of new media, year by year, more and more people have just been browsing free news on the PC screen instead of buying a newspaper.
This is the lack of interest in newspapers.
(B)In addiction to that, as opposed to the mass media, through which large institutions such as newspaper companies and TV stations offer information to people, each person is now able to not only receive information but also put information on the “Internet”, which is structured like a spider's web.
